Great usage of Hunter on that drive for Jacksonville. Little Texas route for the TD was fun. Having Hunter be a suped up weapon type is a smart way to get value out of his role and talent

Oh gotcha yeah, could just eat it but they’d probably get some insurance relief if Hurts isn’t medically cleared (worst case scenario for sure)

Hurts and Wentz lol. But I’m talking more about moving forward, I’d prefer Philly’s structure than most

Oh that’s interesting. OTC is usually spot on

I think the contract structure is great for Philly. Even if Hurts misses time in 2027, 2028 is an affordable out
Was already wondering if Howie would look at 2027 QBs with Hurts’ play declining and a new HC likely coming. Pretty ideal situation for a developmental QB. Here’s Hurts’ contract situation.

Breaking: After consultations with numerous doctors and experts that went into Saturday, the Eagles are placing quarterback Jalen Hurts on injured reserve, sources tell @rapsheet and me. The move will sideline Hurts indefinitely.
More info to come.

It’s not a knock on Fahey. It’s the reality of not having a vet backup or TSC being ready

He’s the tone setter. The defense falls apart in the fourth quarter of every loss. The offense loses all momentum. Coordinators haven’t mattered
It’s hard to roster multiple good QBs now more than ever but Ohio State missing on Air Noland and seemingly Tavien St Clair puts them in a really tough spot. Luke Fahey is a frosh who looked lost, and Sayin is overburdened for his talent when healthy
I say this every Ryan Day loss but it is absolutely unbelievable he loses the same way every single time. Down the bad miscalled penalties late. To actually get a break on a horrible coverage play is shocking
It’s getting to the point where a QB change needs to be considered if Sayin can’t even throw the damn ball away. He’s the biggest weakness on the team in these big games and making far too many mental mistakes
Ohio State has got to compensate for Julian Sayin’s weaknesses more. More quick game, rpos, screens. He’s slow to see leverage, weak arm and doesn’t handle pressure well. Deep drops with a mediocre OL just isn’t going to work well against a good defensive front
Herbstreit blaming the receiver for the route is ridiculous. Darnold was so late seeing the separation that the receiver had to slow or sprint out of bounds. Terrible announcer

I agree. I just ran a mock and i could see a team talking themselves into him later in the first if Arch goes back, and especially if Mestemaker returns. Average qb play right now isn’t very good so maybe it’s a Ty Simpson situation where team is happy with his strengths

Yeah, totally with you on both. Carr isn’t a slam dunk with his tools but mental side and accuracy are great, and hoping he can tweak mechanics to get more velocity like Purdy did
Replying to @ikenyonFB
Yes but biggest key is he’s not as reckless and dependent on playmaking as Zach Wilson and some of the other similar busts. He creates while still performing well within the offense
