$ASTS: Not a huge fan of flexing my own book because no one knows how many times i got F'ed along the way. Unlike most, I treat volatility like a friend. Yeah, 6 figure swings hurt but with real DD & conviction, that’s all it takes. Special thanks to the ones tagged in my last post.
Joining the Sp🅰️ceMob has been an absolute journey. Special thanks to @spacanpanman , @kingtutcap , and @JacobKeeton20
Selling calls & puts on these bad boys funded my first Patek!
$ASTS: This is exactly what us sp🅰️cemobs have been preparing for. It's nothing new or major. We've known for a while that if SpaceX eventually IPOs, building out its own network and competing directly with the major MNOs was a realistic possibility.
What caught my attention during the earnings call was the comment from SpaceX's president and COO. To me, it felt less like a technical update and more like a message to the incumbent carriers to "act quickly, or get left behind". It felt like a subtle reminder that the status quo won't last forever.
That said, I'm really curious about how sticky mobile customers actually are. If you think about it, when was the last time you switched your wireless provider? For most people, it's been years. Brand familiarity, family plans, and bundled services create a lot of friction.
The technology race is one thing. Convincing millions of customers to leave established carriers is another. It will be fascinating to see how this plays out over the next several years.
$ASTS: 🚨 SPACEX PLANS TO BUILD OUT TERRESTRIAL NETWORK TO COMPETE DIRECTLY AGAINST AT&T, VERIZON AND T-MOBILE
Gwynne Shotwell:
"Uh, the spectrum that we purchased from EchoStar does have terrestrial components, so we definitely intend to build out terrestrial. Um, the terrestrial component. So you will have not only the, um, the capacity from the satellites themselves, but you will have, um, a build out of the terrestrial, um, basically the hardware and systems necessary to make a true mobile service exactly what you want it to be. Um, I'm not going to talk about the CapEx for that.
Um, it's a little. Well, I don't want to say it's immature. I'm just going to say I'm not going to talk about the CapEx for that right now. Um, but but let's talk a little.
Let me give a little hint. And that is you could put a base station. Um, uh, a cellular base station on, uh, the basically the gear that holds a Starlink broadband dish. So you can have kind of these little femtocells, uh, around the country, and you deploy that as you need it.
You don't have to necessarily spend, you know, ten or many billions of dollars in low band spectrum all up front before you deploy your system. Um, so that's why I don't want to talk about the CapEx for building out the terrestrial, because we have a lot of really kind of great and new ideas for how we're going to do that. And I think it will be quite CapEx efficient."
Elon Musk:
"Yeah, that that point is probably worth, uh, just a few more words, which is that, um, because this is quite an important point. Uh, you know, instead of having to, uh, deploy these, these very expensive and difficult to locate, uh, large cellular base stations, uh, we we feel reasonably confident that we can deploy a large number of, sort of small, small stations. Essentially, they're really just Starlink dishes that also provide connectivity in the mobile spectrum bands, um, and have them be all over the place. Um, and the Starlink antennas are located in, uh, on the roofs of, of houses and businesses.
So they're, you know, it's, uh, they've got a sort of a clear view, uh, to, you know, for, for providing connectivity directly to the cell, to cell phones on the ground, um, and in fact, providing connectivity, that is, we think, probably better and higher bandwidth than what is currently available from cellular providers. So this is a this is an important point."

$TE: Utility scale solar generation is projected to climb from about 290 BkWh in 2025 to roughly 424 BkWh by 2027, making it the fastest growing source of electricity. Nearly 70 GW of new capacity is expected to come online, with Texas leading the buildout as ERCOT solar generation is forecast to nearly double and battery storage capacity expands rapidly. Solar is attractive because of its low cost of production, short development timelines, and its ability to meet rising daytime demand from electrification and data centers.
$ASTS: I wrote a detailed vol analysis (free) on my substack for anyone who's interested! It's a short read and gives an in depth view of the current vol structure.

$ASTS: If you can't handle the stock at $85, then you sure as hell don't deserve when its at $100, $150, $200, $250, $500.
Let that sink in.
I wouldn’t necessarily say the strong rally in gold is tied to America being “bankrupt,” but rather tied to the dollar. Central banks around the world have been deleveraging their dollar exposure and replacing it with gold, creating upward pressure on gold prices and downward pressure on the dollar. The growing lack of trust and reliance on the dollar is also fueling the rally — especially as the U.S. continues to print money without considering the long-term repercussions.
