BREAKING 🚨: 65 climate groups, backed by trade unions, call on @RachelReevesMP to STOP prioritising shareholder profits and FUND a just transition for North Sea workers and their communities.
We need a proper industrial strategy that puts workers + communities at its heart.
ALT Yellow and white text on a black background reading: "the chancellor must support energy workers. Climate groups and unions are calling for a £1.9 billion ring-fenced investment package for... well paid, unionised jobs in public and community-owned wind manufacturing. Upgrading our ports to be fit for the future. A training fund for current energy industry workers. Rachel Reeves: we need a publicly-owned energy system now!'
