And that’s the word of the Lord! Amen 🙏🏿
"Thus the LORD blessed the latter days of Job more than his earlier ones. For he had fourteen thousand sheep, six thousand camels, a thousand yoke of oxen, and a thousand she-asses." And Job became a billionaire without government tenders and the real cheat code ni God na KAZI.

Let me deploy the battering ram on the two LSK representatives to the JSC. Right now, the JSC is pushing the Delegate Legislation Committee of the National Assembly to table before the House for approval and enactment, the Rules on removal of Judges without taking into account the memorandum of the LSK as augmented by Ahmednasir Abdullahi, SC and I, during public participation. In summary, we rejected the attempt in the Rules, to constitute the JSC a pre-trial Chamber Court for the removal of Judges. A detailed, deceptive and circumlocutory pleadings filing and hearing procedure had been proposed by Judges in the JSC. The intention was to ensure that no complaint reaches the Tribunal. I hear that the LSK representatives to the JSC were outvoted on the issue by the Judges, and our views rejected by the majority Judges. How? The LSK representatives to the JSC cannot be weak personalities to be outvoted on an issue of law! Previous LSK representatives to the JSC were never weaklings. Ahmednasir Abdullahi, SC single handedly set the agenda for interviews at the JSC. In fact, the public thought that he was the JSC. For Advocates, we knew that if he wanted an agenda to go through at the JSC it would. Even the happy go lucky but unassuming Prof Tom Ojienda, SC was no pushover. Of course, he could promise three Judges of the Court of Appeal the post of DCJ causing a lot of domestic judicial-polygamy disputes to himself and his close associates like myself. But when there was hesitation in the appointment of the second C J, the gigantic son of Idi Amin called a press conference by himself and declared that C J David Maraga it was. They could do him nothing. Macharia Njeru was equally resolute and firm. In more than three occasions, he issued his own press statements, disagreeing with the position of the majority at the JSC and stating his stand as the LSK representative. I mean, a man must stand for something. He cannot be a pendulum. A man cannot be efulefutic. Put on lipstick, make up and oil your feet with Vaseline if you cannot be rough. Florence Mwangangi was a good wingwoman for GM. Dr Mercy Deche, SC never disappointed. Like a honey badger tackling a lion, she single handedly wrestled Prof J B Ojwang and Aaron Ringera to the ground, and demonstrated to the public how the two were not C J material. They could not bwogo her. Look, Jacqueline Ingutia and Samson Omwanza Ombati, you two have let the LSK and the Kenyan public down. Why did you vie for these important offices knowing that you are cowards, people without a strong personality to convince or bulldoze the agenda of the LSK at the JSC? You should have just lobbied or bribed to be appointed into some of those offices that require docility.

Counsel we have to keep pushing for a return to open court hearings in person. I hope this new LSK Council will take it up with The Judiciary. #JusticeBeOurShieldAnd Defender!
Bring back physical court please for the good of this profession let hearings be physical.

The Judiciary needs to get their act together and sort out issues with their e-filing system aka CTS. The frequent downtime in the system is unacceptable. Needless to state, yesterday it was very frustrating accessing the judiciary e filing system. #JusticeBeOurShieldAndDefender

Congratulations Judge Wasarme on the occasion of your being nominated to the office of Supreme Court Judge. You are a bold, fearless and independent Judge. May justice be our shield and defender 🙏🏿

A little too late! FYI-time stopped running when the court issued the orders against the panel. Have you withdrawn your appeal at the CoA?
Earlier today, I tendered my resignation from the position of the Vice Chairperson of the @compensationke. I will continue to agitate for Justice for all Victims, and pursue all key deliverables I had set out to attain.

The closest we ever came to a GI Act was the GI Bill 2007. How could the CoA Judges miss that? This is an AI generated judgment: that makes all the 3 Judges + their research assistants incompetent. JSC should move suo moto with disciplinary process against them ASAP.
Three Court of Appeal judges have cited a "Geographical Indications Act 2019" that doesn't exist in this October 2025 decision. I wonder how this could have happened 😏

LSK holds an SGM, locks out half of the membership who have registered to the attend the meeting and yet substantive issues that are likely to affect membership for next decade are to be discussed in the said meeting. This Council is the worst so far in LSK's history. Shalom 🙏🏿

Where is the consent? GM that's a decree.
Mwalimu, be slow to come to that conclusion. This is another fraudulent document generated by the Judiciary.

Article 59 (2) (e) of the Constitution cannot be wished away. So as Faith @FaithOdhiambo8 takes her position at the "panel of experts" she ought to resign from LSK as president. An LSK president should not be seen to be usurping the work of a Constitutional Commission. Shalom 🙏🏿

Well said Hosea, I hope your jey-es-si reps have taken note. Shalom 🙏🏿
The small claims court is the next frontier for not only for young advocates but also general practitioners who take up such matters. The Adjudicators are doing well despite the huge causelist allocated to them. In Nairobi alone, one adjudicator will have a causelist with over 100 matters; being mentions, matters scheduled for hearing and rulings/judgments. This lot is the most overworked, most of them young energetic and ready to deliver on their huge assignments. The judiciary should consider employing enough Adjudicators for the small claims court since this court offers quick justice to a majority of Kenyans. If the judiciary is keen on addressing backlog, start with the SCC going upwards. We know that a single salary of a judge can employ at least 3 adjudicators or more. We have many competent and energetic advocates who can take up these assignments and deliver. The Court of Appeal has considerable backlog running into years, then the Magistrate Court, SCC, and lastly, the High Court. If the recruitment process is reflective of this hierarchy, it will be possible to deliver timely justice. With the exception of the SCC, which is statutory bound to deliver decisions within 60 days, the HC takes the trophy for efficiency and timely delivery of judgments, notwithstanding the fact that we have bad apples in that court.

Ostapenko @JelenaOstapenk8 you are a sore loser who tried to pull a racial stereotype after losing to Taylor in the ongoing US Open. Your past behaviour and/or record after losing speaks for itself. In any sport there must be a winner and a loser. Shalom 🙏🏿

I'm so proud of you @TaylorTownsend for standing up to Ostapenko with grace, confidence and class! Keep winning Taylor 👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿

Yes! Especially the indigent who cannot afford to pay for legal services.
Replying to @GachambiNderit2
This reflects a bigger issue: there could be thousands of inmates in our prisons serving sentences for crimes they never committed or for offences that were exaggerated or falsified.

It's not back! We are stuck with a perennial systemic problem. If it can't work, it should be disbanded/switched off.
Is efiling back really? I cannot access it still

It's been over a week and the Judiciary e-filing system is still down, it was down too over the weekend. Today we are still unable to file pleadings. Will the Courts extend/expand time for pleadings?

Been in Greece since July 3 … When we arrived at Athens International Airport, we each went through Immigration in less than a minute! You wouldn’t even realize there are thousands incoming visitors all the time. And flying around or out of Athens, is the same. No one removes shoes. Customs don’t open bags. It is no wonder Greece, a country of 10m people receives 40m tourists, four times its population! On the other hand, JKIA in Nairobi is a torture chamber! Immigration Services line are long & lazy! KRA wants to check all bags! Leaving any airport in Kenya whether for international or domestic flight, you are forced to remove shoes! A ritual that is stupid! And you wonder why Kenya, a country of 60m people receive less than 2m tourists annually! Kenya needs to fix how it operates. It cannot be treating fliers as enemies!

After more than a decade of using Safaricom post paid service, I finally decided to terminate that service because Safaricom has become the BITTER option. It has taken 1 hour 20 minutes to be attended to in a Safaricom shop to terminate that service. Customer care service is bad.
