So proud of #mathpatriots Tori McCaskill and Bhakti Patel who presented their work at #ncuwm2024
#NCUWM2024 day 2 kicked off with student talks and graduate school panels before our second Plenary talk from Dr. Emily Riehl (@JohnsHopkins)! We loved her talk on “Categorizing Cardinal Arithmetic”.
Ending the day with a banquet and random bits of advice panel featuring Dr. Emily Riehl (@JohnsHopkins), Dr. Erika Tatiana Camacho (@UTSA) and Dr. Anisah Nu’Man (@SpelmanCollege)! What was your favorite part of day one?
Some views from our panel discussion on careers using math with Amanda Carr (@NSAGov), Erin McNicholas (@willamette_u), Joana Perdomo (@RaytheonDefen__), Angela Robinson (@NIST) and Kelley Yancey (@IDA_org)
Dr. Erika Tatiana Camacho of @UTSA kicked off our Plenary talks with “The Intersection of Adversity, Resilience, Tenacity, and Models of Photoreceptor Metabolism: My Story, My Passion and My Research” #NCUWM2024
We are underway! Opening remarks from Dr. Christine Kelley, Executive Vice Chancellor Kathy Ankerson, and Dr. Petronela Radu
