Almost like the outcome will be 8-10 team conferences / scheduling agreements with concentrated wealth instead of spreading $ out by adding tiny schools that happen to be in large tv metro markets.
It seems pretty simple. You trot Doeren out again after this year he’s going to have to make changes. I still can’t believe we green lit this Eliot hire, but I’m assuming it was a move to free up $ for whatever reason.
Like we said on the pod, ignoring the UVA game, this team can win if they avoid bad decision making. Should be 4-1, but really being 1-1 in conference at this point was the most reasonable outcome preseason. Take care of wake and really it’s meaningless what happened at vandy

Wish I knew what “state” team it is, must be really tough on their national branding to have a very specific color scheme and just State logo. Probably no one knows who they are. Better get them in touch with our brand management department to remedy this immediately.

I’m fine with this. Nothing good will be in his DMs

I don’t know given the loss at all the skill players and his tendency to be a little Jekyll and Hyde this game makes complete sense to me

Not necessarily on topic but have they ever considered just making it a rule that if you’re lapped that’s your finishing position and you should be off the track at that point? Wouldn’t that encourage guys to actually push the car to stay in the race?

Been saying this for years. All the reckless spending on facilities and non essentials will fade away and miraculously these programs will survive.

Herb's boys pimping for him? Expect him to be on the move this cycle....
Really not sure how we survived without him.
Thinking back to my time at PC and what an incredible staff I had. Stu Jackson, Herb Sendek, Gordon Chiesa, Bill Donlon, and Jeff Van Gundy. Herb, humble & hungry. Head Coach of Miami of Ohio for 3 years 63-26 (NCAA appearance-round of 32), NC State 191 -132 (5 straight NCAA appearances), ASU 159 -137 with two appearances in the NCAA, round of 32 and 64. Now 186-127 at Santa Clara. Amazing career for an amazing person!!

Just keep rolling, do some damage in the ACCT. I think seasons like this are going to be the normal going forward with roster constructions. Frustrating/jubilant at times, but as long as you’re projected in the tourney you should be happy in March. Get battle tested now vs March

Not sure how you got that read out of it. The university decides when we use State. They have chosen to resist branding as State bc it’s not national branding, and as she points out they don’t have retail setup to sell under it. They act as if alum don’t refer to it us as State
