Hi folks, we're hearing people attributing the smokiness around Chapel Hill and Durham to the prescribed burns in our habitat garden beds this afternoon and want to clarify that – given their (tiny!) size and the direction of the wind – this is almost certainly not the case!
Replying to @ChapelHillFD
Update: The burn at the Botanical Gardens is complete. We've learned we're also getting smoke from a prescribed burn at Falls Lake.
