OMG! #ChatGPT makes the same mistake as a child when solving a math equivalence problem! I’m giddy w/ excitement about discovering this. Awesome. @MCLStrainee @mwalibali @cbhornburg @mpershan @FyfeEmily @PKatACE @devlin_brianna @sarahpowellphd

Okay I had an interaction with students that didn't feel great so I'm looking for some help with another #TeacherTuneUp. What do you do with the math that students just have to remember? danmeyer.substack.com/p/teac…

@Desmos @mrchowmath Trying to type "mu" in an AB note. I want it italicized so I want to add it as latex. If I type "\mu" it doesn't turn in to an italicized mu. If I c&p "\mu" from codecogs.com/latex/eqneditor… it turns into an italicized mu. What am I doing wrong?

just figured out that if i type "\mu" as text in a note, highlight it, and then hit the "type math" button it turns into an italicized mu. Is that the workaround?

@Desmos In an activity note I want to write “p (> < or ≠) null” but have the three inequality symbols stacked, to indicate that one of those should be be chosen. Is there a way could make an array in CL to make that happen?

I tried to do "choices = `\begin{matrix} > \\ < \\ ≠ \end{matrix}` but CL didn't like the back slashes.
The College Board has posted important AP exam information, which can be accessed here. The College Board is offering three testing windows from which districts can choose. After much deliberation, Northern Burlington has decided to administer all exams during Testing Window #3.

AP Exam Tip: When asked to explain a confounding variable, be sure to explain how the variable is connected to the explanatory variable AND how it might influence the response variable. #apstats #MTBoS #statschat

3 things for teachers to remember: 1) Don’t put too much pressure on yourself. It’s not a time for perfection; it’s a time for grace. 2) The students would still love to hear from you. Stay connected if you can. 3) Take care of yourself and your family. They’re still your #1.
