Wemby wins the tip but dishes to Vassell for a 3. Always hard to predict who’s going to be open if Wemby doesn’t take the shot. Back at it tomorrow.
Game and Player data for NBA Opening Day!
The Celtics, 76ers and Spurs should all win the opening tip. New rosters for Celtics and 76ers make it hard to figure out who will score first. I do like the Spurs to score first tonight.
1st play of the season:
FD - Wembanyama +400 risk 0.75 units (posted yesterday)
FD - Fox +650 risk 0.5 units
Wembanyama was 8-0 vs Holmgren last year. Thunder give up first baskets to guards in 47% of games. Wemby scored first team basket in 42% of games last season.
NBA opening day is tomorrow. I’ll drop data in the morning,
Wembanyama won all opening tip-offs last year vs Holmgren, who is questionable.
FD- Wembanyama 1st basket +400 risk 0.75 units
Will pair that with another player in the morning.
We should be good to go for the season. Looks like first baskets are still up on several books. They appear to have only taken away will Player A make or miss his 1st attempt.
With the NBA news today, will have to wait and see what goes away. Assuming prediction markets don't follow the same path, this will only push more bettors to prediction market platforms.

Love that the NBA punished Ballmer, but feel like Kawhi's penalty was too soft. For the Clippers franchise, they basically got the death penalty.
Steep price for a team that only made it to the conference finals once during the Kawhi era.
