AI is starting to show up in MASH clinical trials, liver imaging, and risk screening. It won’t solve everything, but if used well, it could help catch more patients earlier instead of letting liver disease stay hidden until it gets worse. nashaware.com/2026/04/21/can…

Amazing evening at the legendary Arizona Biltmore for the ALF Flavors fundraiser! @liverUSA

Fatty liver disease is common. So why are we still catching it so late? We already have better tools to identify people at risk, but too many patients are still being missed until it's too late. Why screening and follow-through need to improve. nashaware.com/2026/04/07/liv…

I’ve been saying this for years: you can’t fix what you don’t measure. Now, the federal government is finally paying attention to NAFLD/NASH. AHRQ released the first ever report on prevalence of this silent killer disease. This is a turning point. nashaware.com/2026/03/19/fed…

The FDA just approved Wegovy for MASH—the 2nd ever treatment for this silent killer liver disease and the first one with significant capabilities for widespread adoption. This is a huge development for liver patients everywhere! nashaware.com/2025/08/22/weg…

@DrJBhattacharya loved your comment on the rise of chronic disease...we had funding to AHRQ last year for the first Congressionally funded study on NAFLD/NASH. Over 90 million American's are estimated to have some form of this disease and we need more attention from NIH!

At a recent UNGA sidelines event, many prominent health policy experts had never ever heard of NAFLD/NASH. How is it that our healthcare system is failing so badly to address this issue? And what can we do? nashaware.com/2024/12/11/our…

Fantastic news for NASH patients.
This is really big news for MASH! Akero Therapeutics' FGF21 agonist efruxifermin just demonstrated impressive efficacy in treating fatty liver disease. Around 1/3 of late stage (F4) patients even saw reversal of cirrhosis pathology over 3 years
