For the next keynote session at the #2026IJISAISummit, we welcomed Doug Robinson, Executive Director of @NASCIO, who presented "AI in Action: Priorities and Perspectives from State CIOs."
Drawing on the latest NASCIO research and national survey findings, Doug discussed how states are governing, piloting, and moving AI into production. He explored governance models, responsible use frameworks, service delivery improvements, and the policy considerations shaping AI adoption across state government.
Attendees gained insights into early lessons learned, implementation challenges, and innovative projects that are helping improve essential government services while advancing the responsible use of AI.
