As you know the journey has begun for the new licensors, with their game expected to release this year. As part of the licence transfer, the NASCAR Heat servers will be permanently closed on 1st August 2025.
The game will remain playable in single player modes after this time.
Today we're announcing the sale of the NASCAR license from 704Games to iRacing. The NASCAR Heat games will remain available and supported through 2023 and 2024. This decision, will help our business re-organize and focus on quality future releases. Thank you for racing with us!

Steam players: A fix has been deployed for those who were unable to access the Next Gen Car Update content after purchase. You will now be able to experience the Next Gen cars in NASCAR Heat 5. Thank you for your patience!
Xbox players: A new patch (version 1.18) is now available for NASCAR Heat 5!
Once the update is installed, the Next Gen Car Update content will unlock for those that have purchased the DLC.

In addition, @NASCARHeat 5 will receive 2022 content on October 21 as a paid DLC pack for $12.34. This update will include drivers, teams and schemes, but no updates to the 2022 race events. Any tracks that were previously in NH5 that are on the '22 schedule have been included.
