From Boardrooms to Classrooms: Learning Never Stops This July was special. I turned 71 and celebrated 50 years in my professional journey – a path shaped by risks, reinvention, and relentless learning. It began with 12 formative years at ICL and DCM Infotech Limited, followed by 38 years as an entrepreneur. After completing my Engineering at Punjab Engineering College, Chandigarh and MBA from Faculty of Management Studies – University of Delhi, I ventured into multiple domains – IT Hardware, Manufacturing, IT Software, Telecom Services, Call Centers, and now #Data and #AI. Some ventures thrived, some closed, but every chapter added to my experience. Along the way, I earned two patents and built deep expertise in R&D, manufacturing, finance, marketing, investments, and leadership. A key part of this journey has been building @NAMINFO , now a 25-year-old company with a global presence in the US, Canada, and India. NAM Info Inc. has evolved from a consulting organization into a provider of Data and AI products and solutions, with a strong focus on Conversational AI, Data Platforms, and Analytics driving digital transformation for clients worldwide. Equally fulfilling has been giving back to the community through @ITServeorg , helping strengthen the ecosystem for small and mid-sized IT companies while supporting local communities through #CSR and #STEM initiatives. This month marks another milestone: I’m restarting my education journey with the Wharton Executive Education “Scaling a Business: How to Build a Unicorn” program. After five decades in business, the excitement of learning hasn’t dimmed. My goal is to combine years of practical experience with fresh insights to scale our Data and AI initiatives to the next level. If there’s one lesson this journey reinforces, it’s that learning has no age, and reinvention keeps you alive. #FromBoardroomsToClassrooms #LifelongLearning #Entrepreneurship #DataAndAI #NeverStopLearning #GivingBackToCommunity
