🚨 URGENT: A proposed census rule threatens to make 1 in 5 U.S. residents statistically invisible — underfunding & underrepresenting Latino communities for the next decade.
$2.8 trillion in federal funds, civil rights protections, & fair voting maps are on the line. 🧵👇
The rule would eliminate race & ethnicity data for the 1st time since 1790 and exclude millions from apportionment.
The 2020 Census had a historic 4.99% undercount of Latinos. This rule sets the stage for an even worse undercount in 2030. We can't stay silent. 👇
Take action by October 13, 2026:
1️⃣ Submit a public comment on Regulations.gov: bit.ly/census-rule-sample-le…
2️⃣ Call Congress at (202) 224-3121 & demand they act.
3️⃣ Repost to mobilize your network!
🚨 NEW POLL: 75% of Latino voters in 7 battleground states want candidates who back work permits for long-term immigrant workers.
We joined 200+ Latino leaders with @comitede100 to call on @POTUS to act now.

We welcome the Supreme Court's ruling protecting vote-by-mail access.
One in three Latinos voted by mail in the 2024 election. For many, voting by mail is often the only way their voices are heard. Voters should be able to cast their ballots without fear or unnecessary barriers.
