Do you know the difference between community CONTROL of the police versus yet another powerless review board or oversight board?
There is no accountability without the POWER to hold people, departments, and policies accountable!

Just like the Israeli Occupation Forces, ICE is allowed to kill people on the streets whenever they want, aided and encouraged by the government. Rest in peace Lorenzo Salgado Araujo and all those killed by ICE pigs. ABOLISH ICE!
Immigration and civil rights advocacy groups are demanding an independent investigation into the fatal shooting of Lorenzo Salgado Araujo, a Mexican immigrant and father of three who was killed by ICE agents in Houston on Tuesday morning.
Salgado Araujo, who had been living in the United States for nearly 35 years, worked in construction and was starting his day by picking up other workers in Magnolia Park, a historically Latino neighborhood, when ICE agents targeted him.

Voting Rights were paid for in blood by our ancestors, and we will not allow them to be rolled back. This Juneteenth is a special opportunity to help beat back right-wing attempts to take us back to Jim Crow era disenfranchisement and police terror. Join us in the streets!
🚨CALL TODAY! 🚨
JUSTICE FOR WALTER SCOTT!
Killer cop Michael Slager, convicted for the 2015 murder of Walter Scott, is set to be released early by the federal Bureau of Prisons, despite being sentenced to 20 years after pleading guilty.
Early release for Slager would be a slap in the face to the family that fought to have him charged.
We are calling on all our forces across the country to call the Englewood Federal Correctional Institution in Littleton, Colorado to demand NO EARLY RELEASE FOR MICHAEL SLAGER.
Swipe for a script to make calls and please comment below and let us know the response you get.
And don't forget to add your name to our petition at tinyurl.com/NoEarlyRelease27

The Supreme Court's 6-3 decision in Louisiana v. Callais is a direct assault on the Voting Rights Act (VRA) of 1965, legislation won through the blood, sweat and tears of the Civil Rights movement and the broader Black Liberation movement.
