I've come back on X especially to celebrate this. Well done all!!!
I don't often go on here now but signing off the year with my cycling stats. I started the year with goals most of which I achieved (velodrome license will have to roll over). Injury and illness curtailed some - had to readjust but happy with my year end considering. @VeloViewer

Got home to find @history_alice signed new book Eighteen waiting for me (I now have a pair of signed Loxton's after her brilliant first book). Great timing as had just finished @nedboulting 1923 and the brilliant voyage of discovery he went on around an old auction film roll. – at Thrapston, England
Media blackout at work for me today. All news notifications switched off. Agreement with cycling friends not to message about Olympics. Will settle down tonight to catch up... – at Thrapston, England

I’m proud that people from nearly 200 countries work in our NHS.
I completely condemn this racist violence and stand with our staff and the communities they live and work in. Thank you to our emergency services who are working hard to keep everyone safe.
Love this.... – at Thrapston, England
Happy Sunday Cambridgeshire!
A little message from us... if everyone could please refrain from committing any crime tonight between 8pm and 11pm, that'd be great. Thank you 👍 ⚽ 🏴

A brutal start to this year's Tour de France has certainly mixed it up. It's certainly not the usual boring first week. Surprises history being made.
In a world of cynicism, this has been the ultimate feel-good Tour de France. The 3, unexpected stage winners so far, culminating in @GrmayeBiniam’s historic, emotional first today, and a @RichardCarapazM in yellow for @EFprocycling. That’s not dust in my eye, I’m 😭 @IntermarcheW
Enjoy the next chapter @LauraKenny31 - a true legend of the track.

It’s exasperating to hear that line about the NHS having enough money but needing to use it better.
Providing a service to 1.6 million people every day with 125,000 staff vacancies is about as efficient as it gets.
Brilliant work from our fantastic Community Forensic Team working on conjunction with another one of our fantastic services @DarwinNurseries @TomBaleOfficial @DebbieSmith1002 – at Thrapston, England
