I think a big reason that retro style games are coming back is deeper than raw nostalgia. A painting isn’t great because it’s high fidelity, but because it asks the viewer “what do you see here” and the viewer’s brain fills in the gaps with feelings. Good games work the same way

That sure was a halo reveal. There was definitely a Jimmy Rings in it. The sprint was sprinting. There are definitely high fidelity graphics in this game.

This is so clutch i accidentally designed it so even if my internet goes out it still runs and automatically reconnects when it comes back on. It just works.
