Traffic on our road is so bad despite lockdown.We suffer high AirPollution + speed danger but as residential road, weβre not in a LTN and as A10 stretch, weβre ignored by @TfL But our community has rights to a greener, healthier, safer road too. #activetravel @hackneycouncil π³πΆπΏ
Two massive trucks and Highway Maintenance vans blocking one lane on Rectory Road at the moment - no warning to the residents as always. @TfL
Noise and disruption.

We need trees where theyβre needed most π³π³
@Semakaleng @SadiqKhan
As London gets hotter, we need practical solutions that make a real difference for Londoners.
That's why @MayorofLondon is funding up to 5,000 new climate-resilient trees where they're needed most, creating a greener, cooler city for generations to come π³
Swift operation by @TfL to introduce electric vehicle charging/parking spot, took about a week or less..Will trees for shade, cooling and shelter follow? @metecoban92 ππΌππ½π³π³π³ #ClimateEmergency #heatwave
This is the everyday pain of Rectory Rd residents:
No loading bay on a residential road.
People waiting a couple of months for beds, ovens
often fined for essential deliveries, always fined for scaffolding.
We need @TfL accountability

Two years ago on #CleanAirday we released AirMeter App to let our residents see invisible #airpollution
on our road thanks to the data from our @Breathe_London node
The combination of #heatwave and fumes from the A10 make it hard to breathe especially as our road has no trees.

Iβm issuing a high air pollution alert for London on Monday 22 June. Hot, sunny weather and pollution from continental Europe are expected to raise ozone levels. Please help protect yourself and others, especially vulnerable people, by reducing car journeys and avoiding engine idling.
Another hot day, no shade, no cooling, just the A10 fumes made worse by the heat.
Great to meet @metecoban92 at the @Breathe_London Awards and hear about the need to green the areas that need it the most..like ours. We stay hopeful. π³π³#climatecrisis
