People should also be able to take no for answer and back off. If someone is told no and they remain insistent, creepy, or harass anyone, don't just be helpless. Tell people, tell staff, we'll get them the fuck out of there. Absolutely no room for that in any community.

If you are afraid of going to these events because you don't want people to hit on you ever, don't go out in public. You should be able to have someone express interest and tell them no without getting all offended someone dare shoot their shot.
