Not to get pretentious about a silly post, but... this could be a case of subtle characterization through design. Chris, who is known to be reckless, shows up with no additional equipment. Leon, who has historically been situated as more of a professional, is wearing a cup. I'm just saying. Notice how the scene of Ada kneeing Leon in the balls in OG was cut from RE4make. Wouldn't be as effective on RE4make Leon. He's Prepared(TM).

Probably jumped the gun. Its better than csg shapes but it's missing a fair amount of basic features that come up pretty often like dissolving vertices or creating faces from selected verts. Bummer.

Unibuilder releasing for Godot honestly feels like a godsend, I can probably wholesale skip using trenchbroom and blender for mapping. Not a bad tool but it skips the importing steps between each that also required completely redoing the manual navregions.
