AR Rahman in his prime produced good pop music. But to transcend into classical, he would have had to conjure magic like this. 🧵 (1/5)

Jean Dreze appears to be an infallible prophet
A worker at an Adani plant contributes more to the country’s development than a parasitic gora larper can ever dream of Anyone defending Jean Dreze as some development guru is the epitome of a low IQ moron

His work was funded by Ford Foundation and McArthur Foundation. How many million years would it take to those "100 workers" to match billionaires like Henry Ford and John McArthur? Or is this calculation meant only for the non-white billionaires? Saving Indian souls - backed by western business - is a very old game.....
It would take *one million years* for 100 workers working non-stop at the minimum wage to earn as much as Adani already has - Jean Dreze explains.

Check replies. Mcleodgunj is in Himachal. Congress came to power there plugging a ruinous pension scheme. The state is struggling to pay salaries to its employees. Collecting garbage will be least of its concerns. Yet, despite this being cockroach-style “accountability” season, very few replies raged against the state govt or questioned its accountability. This is an example of a genuine, non-manipulated thread: genuine people with genuine lament not hyperfocused on scoring political points. If you want to see the political-animal nature of Congress/Cockroach camp, change the locale to a BJP-run state, and watch the “vishwaguru” jibe ranting in replies. The anti-BJP mob on X is unhinged, and getting desperate by the day as Modi stays solidly in place.
Condition of Mcleod Ganj. Next time you hear someone saying Switzerland.. Send this video. Himachal needs to start promoting trash tourism now.. Come volunteer to clean and get a room and food for free for a few days. #himachalpradesh #tourism #himalayas

Your govt detained me for 3 days without informing my family. The arrest itself was illegal. And then you slapped preventive detention on me which was once again deemed illegal by the high court and you don’t have an iota of shame questioning others.
Where is @abhijeet_dipke? Where is @neha_aisa? Detaining them without disclosing their whereabouts is blatantly illegal and deeply inhumane. The Union Government must release them immediately and stop suppressing peaceful protests. Every attempt to crush the movement will only make it stronger. #GyaneshKumarMustGo. The Union BJP Government has no other option. @cockroachisback @SFI_CEC @AISA_Official_ @Aishe_Ghosh @SauravDassss @AshutoshRanka @Dhruv_Rathee #CJP #Delhi

Please protest within the compounds of your private property or designated protest sites. Thank you for your attention to the matter. - Taxpaying citizen
Businesses do not suffer because of peaceful protests. They suffer when the govt decides to shut down an entire city, suspend internet services and restrict the movement of its own citizens and turn the city into a war-zone. Since its inception, the Cockroach Janta Party has maintained that we will always follow Gandhi’s path of peace and non-violence, and we have stood by that commitment. We have organised protests in Mumbai, Pune, Jaipur, Lucknow, Bengaluru and Nagpur, and every single one of them has been peaceful. I was personally assaulted in Jaipur, but even then, I chose not to retaliate because responding to violence with violence goes against everything we believe in. We would rather exercise the rights guaranteed to us by the Constitution, drafted under the leadership of Dr. B. R. Ambedkar, than resort to physical force. Our strength comes from our commitment to constitutional values, and no amount of provocation will make us abandon them. Despite this, there are constant attempts to portray us as anarchists simply because we refuse to remain silent. But demanding answers from the govt is not anarchy, protesting against injustice on the streets is not anarchy, and questioning those who hold public office is certainly not anarchy. These are the most fundamental expressions of democracy. The very party that is in power today spent decades organising protests, taking to the streets and questioning the governments of the day when it was in opposition. Had the same restrictions, intimidation and police crackdowns been used against them, many of those who occupy positions of power today might never have reached where they are. It is deeply hypocritical to celebrate protests as a democratic right when you are in opposition and treat the same act as a threat to public order when you come to power. We are not asking for privileges or special treatment. We are simply asking to exercise the rights that belong to every citizen of this Republic, irrespective of which party is in power. So let us fulfil our duty as citizens of this country by questioning those we elect, demanding accountability and speaking up whenever we witness injustice. A govt that has been elected by the people is bound to listen to the people, not silence them. Democracy does not end once the votes have been counted.

Harvard operates a highly coordinated ideological machinery explicitly designed to platform, nurture, and legitimize elements working to destabilize Indian sovereignty. From hosting heavily biased conferences to grooming global policy influencers, here is the undeniable evidence of the "Breaking India" ecosystem at work. #SnakesInTheGanga 🧵👇

Prashant Bhushan’s venomous toxic rant on regime change has now proved beyond doubt that the SIR process was just a smoke screen for Rahul Gandhi and his vile eco system. Their ulterior motive and anarchic agenda has always been to derail Indian democracy and seize power undemocratically. The notice being issued to Rahul Gandhi on his conduct is a rap on the knuckles of Rahul Gandhi’s politics of mobocracy. The reckless and unpatriotic Rahul Gandhi is a threat to national unity and he is unfit to continue as LOP.

George Soros outlet HRW attacking India. It is an international concerted effort to destabilise India. Again, not about being pro-anti Modi. It is about exposing foreign hand behind current protests in India.

Most Western Media have received the same CIA memo…. Zero police brutality these days during Indian protests. From what i have seen, just provocation of GenZ well trained protestors backed by NGOs. Looks like a coordination for regime change in India. Not a fan of Modi, just honest reporting, just FACTS
Several leaders of India’s “cockroach” youth movement are detained in New Delhi after entering a historic protest site in defiance of a police order, calling for the resignation of India’s election chief over the removal of 130 million people from the country’s voter lists. nbcnews.com/world/asia/india…

The channel is @IndiaToday and @sardesairajdeep is the anchor who gave prime time platform to Congress MP / Rahul Gandhi chum / JNU prof Angomcha Bimol Akoijam accused of demanding sex for marks. It was a ghastly show with the alleged predator blaming and shaming his victims.
A news channel did an extensive & ‘exclusive’ interview with an MP sacked by JNU for sexual harassment. With the accused using the platform to make a case for himself to the viewers of the channel. Shouldn’t the channel have first prioritised to tell the story of the several women he harassed by giving the JNU committee members that primetime slot? This is media for you.. preach to the world about justice for women but give the mic to the accused to prove his ‘innocence’

🧵THREAD | Read every single post in this thread carefully. | Independent journalists are being widely praised for their coverage of the ongoing protests in Delhi. But what lies behind this carefully cultivated image of independence? These journalists openly give protesters a platform, take their side during confrontations, and even obstruct police action. Their conduct during protests is there for everyone to see. I decided to put some of these self-proclaimed independent journalists to the test. Using a fake email ID, I approached several of them with a proposal to create Instagram videos for the SP ahead of the 2027 UP elections. What happened next? They responded with work samples and quoted their prices for producing political content. I’m sharing screenshots of the email replies I received from each of them as evidence. Meet journalist Mamta Singh. You may have frequently seen her videos on the media outlet News Capsule. Mamta Singh quoted ₹40,000 for a single reel. 1/

You can buy a journalist to make anti-govt protest #Instagram reels for between Rs 5,000 & Rs 30,000 as this investigation by @vishalPosts exposes. Their senior colleagues, including some well known names, have been selling themselves for far more—causing great national harm.

Figure out which American/European media outlets have not reported the end of Indian democracy yet, a subject they are passionate about. They are the ones not making enough moolah from India reportage.

“After meeting Rahul Gandhi some 15 years ago, I made these diary entries: It’s impossible not to be impressed by his civility & sensibility… an embodiment of good values, an instinctive inclusiveness & empathy for the disadvantaged.” -- Kaushik Basu, Economist
