MDRF did a lot more than just ban fursuits. Animal-looking D&D races (e.g. dragonborn and tengu) and characters inspired by Disney and Bluth animated films (e.g. Robin Hood 1973) are affected by this too. There are declining options for fun escapism in this state.

🚨 FURRY BAN: The Maryland Renaissance Festival has banned fursuits this year, saying they don’t fit the Renaissance theme and that some patrons complained about feeling uncomfortable around them. Organizers also cite past issues with unauthorized performances. (City Cast DC)
It’s a private event with a dress code. Not every venue has to accommodate every subculture — and “discrimination” doesn’t automatically mean someone’s rights were violated.

Hey @DisneyParks and @UniversalORL @UniStudios . #SixFlagsAmerica is closing and I want you to buy it. Turn that land into a world-class theme park resort. Get WMATA to extend the Blue/Silver line to the park for access to 3 major airports. Tell your boss this is a great idea!

Elon has now had major negative impacts on my career and those of my friends. Today's indiscriminate firings really piss me off in particular.
As a result, this account will be read-only. You can find me on FurAffinity, BlueSky, and Mastodon. See my pinned tweet.
Tomorrow is Appreciate a Dragon Day! Hope you're all ready!
This whole week is now Appreciate a Dragon Week. Us dragons have decided to extend the festivities the same way retailers extend their Black Friday sales. Next year we'll take over the entire month of January! 🐉🔥
Anyone else in Maryland annoyed with the way snow plowing was done for this storm? Seems like the plow drivers were scared to get too close to the sides of the street. A pavement princess pickup was tasked to plow my community and was 3 feet off each side of the street.

Russell the wyvern! 🐉🔥
He may be short for a dragon, but he's got the wingspan to make up for it!

🚨HOSTAGE SITUATION🚨
Gun fire reported at Nakatomi Plaza, Los Angeles, California early this morning. A police officer, Lieutenant Detective John McClane, is apparently one of the hostages
Let’s hope all involved get out alive on this Christmas Eve
I am weirded out by the modern gamer's aversion to mods. The height of my gaming was in the 90's and 00's when modding was expected on most PC games. User content added new levels, characters, weapons, game modes, and so much more. Modders could work faster than developers.
