Today we're launching a crypto campaign to support the people of Nepal and contribute to the Government of Nepal's Prime Minister Disaster Relief Fund.
To help, donate at NepalRelief.org.
Stablecoins work best when money has to move fast to people who need it. While many others collected donations for Nepal in a more traditional sense, we built a path that leverages blockchain technology that lands as local currency in the government's relief fund.
The campaign is powered by Polygon's Open Money Stack, Coinme, and @CrossRiverBank. Blockchain for Impact has already pledged $100,000.
No one's pain matters more because of geography. But some tragedies just hit differently when they touch a place that's part of your own story, and Nepal has always felt close to home for me.
I was born in the Kumaon belt of Uttarakhand, India, right alongside Nepal, and my maternal family comes from that same region. Communities on both sides of the border have been connected for generations, through family, culture, faith, food, trade and everyday life. India and Nepal have what we often call "Roti-Beti ka rishta," ties of family and shared life that run far deeper than a line on a map, and Prime Minister Modi, speaking recently about Nepal, called its people our brothers and sisters.
I want to do my small part to stand with them, and I hope you'll join me. This campaign lets people around the world contribute in stablecoins to support relief and rebuilding efforts in Nepal.
Thank you @SuperteamNPL @Ronak0010 for this.

Honoured to be a part of the @SolanaFndn "Solana is global podcast".
We are redefining how governance can be built on @solana through @janamatnp.
Seeing how @SuperteamNPL is shaping and Janamat being part of mainstream politics and ministry decision making in Nepal, I can truly say, Solana is Global!
Heartfelt thanks to @afscott and @lagunacarta for making this happen :)

My country is going through a disaster right now; floods have taken lives and destroyed homes across Nepal.
The ecosystem wants to help, and it's our duty to make that possible.
I am figuring out a way that enables direct stablecoin donations to the beneficiary bank account, tinkering my way around @altitude, @sphere_labs, and @Stablecoin to see what works best. Nth concrete yet; open to more options/help,
As of now, the official portal for international donors by @PM_nepal_ accepts Visa and Mastercard. So anyone with access to @KASTxyz, @solflare, @RedotPay, etc can top up with stables and donate through that. This enables the whole crypto ecosystem to donate.
We built rails for money to move anywhere on the internet. This is the moment they exist for. Any help around this is appreciated.
For International donors:

The gateway is live now. Cards are supported.
Really cool project on privacy with cutest name : Cat in the Box

A lot of projects talk about “privacy,” but what they really mean is privacy by promise — I have your data, and I promise not to screw you.
Had an amazing time representing Rumsan on the Ethereum World Fair stage at #EFDevcon with @ArunMaharajan & José Ignacio Trajtenberg! 🎤
We shared how AidLink is bringing Web3 into real-world humanitarian aid. 🧵👇
AidLink is a collaboration between Rumsan(@rahataid), @UNICEFinnovate , @Xcapit & @kotanipay, designed to deliver aid even in low-tech environments.
It proves that blockchain can be inclusive, resilient & collaborative.
Onboarding done right.
Devconnect really knows how to set the tone from the gate itself.
