UKRAINE IS NOT FOR SALE. AND NO ONE WILL FORCE US TO SURRENDER. Donald Trump seems to believe that by effectively siding with Putin, he can push Ukraine into a corner and dictate the terms of its future. Their calculation is simple: restrict Starlink, cut off intelligence sharing, threaten to stop weapons sales, and watch Ukrainians rush to sign whatever agreement is placed before them. But they've overlooked one fundamental truth. OUR HOMELAND IS NOT FOR SALE. NOT TODAY. NOT TOMORROW. NOT EVER. Second, Trump has exposed himself to the world as anything but a dependable strategic partner. His actions have undermined the very meaning of an alliance. A genuine ally stands beside you when you're fighting for survival. He doesn't threaten to abandon you while treating the aggressor like an old friend. What explains Trump's extraordinary attitude toward Putin? I genuinely don't know. There have long been rumors about compromising material in Russian intelligence archives, possible honey traps dating back to Trump's visits to Moscow, and other personal connections. These remain speculation, not established facts. But whatever explains his behavior, the political consequences are impossible to ignore. The world is witnessing a spectacle that would have seemed unthinkable decades ago. Imagine Donald Trump occupying the White House in 1939, enthusiastically declaring to the world: "My wonderful friend Adolf." That's the historical parallel his behavior brings to mind. I believe the November congressional elections could mark the beginning of a serious reckoning. Whether impeachment follows will depend on the political balance in Congress, but one thing is certain: Trump has exhausted the patience of an enormous number of people, both at home and abroad. Third, Europe must finally confront the uncomfortable truth. Poland, the Baltic states, and the rest of the continent cannot blindly depend on a partner across the Atlantic whose commitments can change with every presidential whim. What Europe sees instead is an American president repeatedly extending diplomatic courtesies to Vladimir Putin — a dictator accused of war crimes and subject to an arrest warrant issued by the International Criminal Court in The Hague. EUROPE MUST STOP WAITING FOR WASHINGTON TO SAVE IT. Ukraine must now strengthen its relationships with European allies more than ever. We should encourage deeper military cooperation, joint operations where appropriate, and opportunities for European troops to acquire genuine battlefield experience alongside Ukrainian forces. No training ground can fully reproduce what our soldiers have learned through years of brutal combat. Modern drone warfare, electronic warfare, artillery coordination, and battlefield survival are lessons Ukraine has paid for in blood. Europe needs that experience. And Ukraine needs a Europe capable of defending itself. But there's another battlefield we can no longer afford to neglect: diplomacy. We must stop treating ambassadorial appointments as rewards for political connections, personal loyalty, or dubious careers. Ukraine needs experienced diplomats, respected professionals, and powerful networks of influence in every country where our interests are at stake. We need people who can open doors, build alliances, defend our position, and make Ukraine's voice impossible to ignore. THIS IS OUR POLITICAL FRONT. AND LOSING IT WOULD BE JUST AS DANGEROUS AS LOSING GROUND ON THE BATTLEFIELD. Putin believes Ukraine can be broken by military force. Trump seems to believe Ukraine can be pressured into accepting whatever deal he considers convenient. Both misunderstand the same fundamental reality. We are not fighting for a better bargain. We are fighting for our homes, our families, our freedom, and the very existence of our country. WE HAVE ALREADY PAID TOO HIGH A PRICE TO SELL OUR FUTURE NOW. Our cause is just. Our determination is stronger than their threats.

It’s a bit like reading “Tales of The Unexpected”. The website is reminiscent of an espionage museum without an admission fee ... and no adverts. You will soon be immersed in a whole new world from which you won’t want to exit. In particular, read Bill’s online bio at theburlingtonfiles.org/#/the…. It is now illustrated with hundreds, yes, hundreds of realistic historical photographs and cartoons, so don’t miss out on hours of fun and intrigue. If you’ve got time, have a look at the book Beyond Enkription, based on Bill Fairclough’s life. It’s a noir, fact-based spy thriller that may shock you. It’s available from most posh bookshops. It’s free at most libraries, free on Borrowbox, and at Amazon the eBook is inexpensive and may be free for some subscribers. Even the audiobook is free on Amazon USA. What more do you want! What is interesting is that this book is apparently mandatory reading in some countries’ intelligence agencies’ induction programs. Why? Maybe because the book is not only realistic but has been heralded by those who should know as “being up there with My Silent War by Kim Philby and No Other Choice by George Blake”. It is an enthralling read as long as you don’t expect fictional agents like Ian Fleming’s incredible 007 to save the world or John le Carré’s couch potato yet illustrious Smiley to send you to sleep with his delicate diction, sophisticated syntax and placid plots! If you have questions, please feel free to ask them. Best wishes - all at TheBurlingtonFiles PS Before you buy (or otherwise get) a copy of Beyond Enkription, check out Bill Fairclough’s bio at theburlingtonfiles.org/#/the… - there are many new and intriguing disclosures and hundreds of intriguing photos illustrating it … graphically.
