Gas in Europa is nu 11x zo duur als in de VS (€93 vs €8 per MWh). Een jaar geleden was het 'maar' 4x en nog nooit was dit verschil zo groot!
Voor energie-intensieve industrie is dit einde oefening. Investeringen gaan nu eenmaal naar waar de energie goedkoop is.
Maar ook voor gewone burgers levert dit energiestress. Ze worden ziek van een koud of schimmelig huis, of ziek van hun energierekening.
En wij? Wij sloten Groningen en verbieden boren op de Noordzee.
De EU moet af van de #greendeal, anders zal onze welvaart verder verdwijnen.

As a result of Trump's energy ceasefire, Russia has promised to export 300k metric tons of diesel this month, 500k next month and up to 1 million in December.
Global monthly diesel demand is 115 million tons. We're talking about less than 1% of global diesel demand and that's assuming Russia can and wants to deliver on its promises which is highly doubtful on both ability and intent grounds.
On the other hand, 5.4 million tons a month is estimated to have been lost for the last many months due to the drastic reduction of oil and diesel shipments via the Straight of Hormuz.
The "energy ceasefire" is not about diesel, it's about redirecting the rage at the cost of the Iran war at someone other than the people who are responsible for it for electoral purposes.

🎯 Tone-policing Zelenskyy, or any Ukrainian, while their people are in their 5th year of being murdered by Russia is revolting. If Trump doesn’t want to be criticized for siding with Putin, he can stop siding with Putin. Appeasing and flattering him has failed. Pick a side.
By making it clear to people like you that Trump is no friend of Ukraine, and is giving relief not just to the Russians, but the Iranians as well who are armed and supported by our own money now.

Hé, daar is Bas Bloem weer. Die was een tijdje terug ook al bij #Eva om boeren en tuinders te framen als exclusieve veroorzakers van Parkinson.
Een vreselijke ziekte uiteraard die je niemand toe wenst. Maar een ziekte exclusief framen zonder onomstotelijk bewijs, voelt als een doelbewuste actie naar een sector die al zwaar onder vuur ligt.
Dus waarom geen wederhoor aan tafel?
