This is worth infinitely more than those silly $5,000 dividend promises. Let those under 40 opt out of paying Social Security tax and just let us fund this instead.

A French woman says that the rioters and looters broke into her building and threatened her with rape while she was holding her child in her arms. “That’s collateral damage” responds the feminist activist Bettina Zourli who holds a Master’s in gender studies and focuses her work on gender norms, motherhood, reproductive rights, and voluntary childlessness (“childfree”) She describes herself as “feminist, childfree and Antifa” Zourli also says that all the stores getting looted also constitute a case of collateral damage and that the revolution, which she supports, must be violent. She has lectured in gender studies, including at the University of Lille and Université Rennes.

Now that Connor Bedard’s Blackhawks team captain, I was curious to see his view of Kevin Korchinski’s situation, his response: “I think he's handled it really well. He's (come) to the rink every day with a smile on his face and positive attitude, working his ass off every day on the ice and in the gym… …I think last year, like (Sam) Lafferty, he had kind of a similar situation for a stretch of games, and honestly, probably the best teammate that you can ever have, just seeing him handle it and come to the rink and be a positive influence on everyone… …I think Korch is doing a great job of that, and I feel like that's all you can do. When he gets his chance, he'll be ready.”

This article is "factually inverted" and opposite of what happened. The Trump administration refocused the GeoXO satellite program back to weather forecasting undoing Biden admin additions that risked the whole program. This story is a complete fabrication.
The Trump administration’s cuts to weather satellites will set the country back nearly a decade, experts say. The loss of data used to observe, forecast and research extreme weather could prevent the US from making major advances in weather prediction in the coming years. cnn.it/4k6eD4o

She ran a hospice for the destitute who were rejected by hospitals under a national morphine crackdown and the Lancet editor credited her with cleanliness, wound care and kindness. Reddit brain
🚨 NEW: Joe Rogan was in shock when historical storyteller Cody Tucker revealed that Mother Teresa was actually a horrible person who kept dying patients in horrible conditions while massive donations flowed to the Vatican: TUCKER: “She's a scumbag. Mother Teresa never did anything good.” CONTEXT: In 1994, a physician named Robin Fox visited Mother Teresa's Home for the Dying in Calcutta. Fox wasn't some anonymous critic. He was the editor of The Lancet, one of the world's most prestigious medical journals. And what he described was deeply troubling. Medical care was inconsistent. Some decisions were made by nuns and volunteers without formal medical training. Basic diagnostic investigations were rarely available. And the facility did not have strong painkillers in its medication supply. Fox described a patient with a high fever who initially received paracetamol and an antibiotic before a visiting doctor suspected malaria and changed the treatment. His central objection was that patients who might have treatable conditions weren't being reliably distinguished from people who were actually dying. Think about that. Someone could arrive believing they were receiving medical care when they might have needed a proper diagnosis, referral or treatment. And this wasn't the only criticism. In 2013, three Canadian academics published a critical review of Mother Teresa's life and work in the journal Studies in Religion. They questioned her approach to caring for the sick, her political relationships and the management of the enormous donations her organization received. One of their central concerns was whether a religious belief in the spiritual value of suffering had been allowed to influence the standard of care provided to vulnerable patients. Mother Teresa believed suffering could have profound spiritual meaning. But there's a difference between helping someone find meaning in unavoidable suffering... AND FAILING TO RELIEVE SUFFERING THAT MEDICINE COULD PREVENT. There is also an important complication. During the 1990s, India had extraordinarily restrictive regulations governing access to morphine. Human Rights Watch later documented that India's medical morphine consumption collapsed by approximately 97% between 1985 and 1997. Even major hospitals struggled to obtain adequate pain medication. So the absence of strong painkillers at Mother Teresa's facilities does not, by itself, prove she deliberately withheld them because she wanted patients to suffer. And Fox acknowledged something critics often leave out: The home he visited provided cleanliness, wound care and genuine kindness to desperately poor people. The Missionaries of Charity also cared for people whom hospitals had turned away. Mother Teresa saw her mission primarily as offering dignity, love and spiritual comfort to the abandoned, rather than operating conventional hospitals. Critics have questioned the Missionaries of Charity's financial transparency for decades. But Tucker's more specific allegation that Mother Teresa funneled donated money to the Vatican rather than caring for patients has not been established by the evidence reviewed here. That distinction matters. IMPORTANT NOTES: Mother Teresa received the Nobel Peace Prize in 1979. The Catholic Church canonized her as a saint in 2016. To millions of people, she remains one of the greatest symbols of compassion in modern history. But the historical record also contains serious criticisms that deserve examination rather than automatic dismissal. The most disturbing question isn't whether Mother Teresa personally believed suffering had spiritual value. It's whether that belief, combined with the way her facilities operated, ever resulted in people enduring pain or illness that could have been treated. Because there is a fundamental difference between helping someone die with dignity... And allowing someone to suffer when they might not have needed to.

This is just weird Don’t see coaches talk this bluntly about players very often Idk what Korch did but Blashill HATES this guy, he’s gotta be perfect apparently Same coaching staff that left Burakovsky on the 1st line for 6 months btw #Blackhawks
Jeff Blashill on his message to Kevin Korchinski: "He's got to stay with it and just practice hard and be great in practice every day..." What have you thought of his practicing? "Wasn't good enough today... One or two plays really jump out at you. Needs to make sure he's super crisp and on it and putting himself in position to be successful when he goes in."

I was going to make a separate tweet about Korchinski, but this is pretty much how I feel about it, to be honest. Del Mastro has definitely put in quality minutes, but I don’t see the hurt in Korchinski getting a game while Byram or another D-man is out. You can’t really sit him for 84 games, right? I wrote a column talking about this a couple weeks ago, which is why I haven’t really harped on it, but it hasn’t made any more sense to me since that published.
Replying to @kalenalumpkins
I guess i’m just confused why it seems like he’s expecting perfection out of Korch when we’re obviously not getting perfection out of the other guys… I’m not sure what i’m missing here :/

Rank tracking is broken right now. “Poisoned SERPs” have hit almost every data provider. But there’s still a way to build accurate and detailed ranking reports for clients, using a method Google hasn’t blocked (yet). The setup: 1. Connect the @serplens MCP to Claude Desktop 2. Create a destination for the data (I use Notion) 3. Ask Claude to run scheduled ranking checks It works because the SERP Lens browser strips /goto links by default, and Claude can switch the VPN location through the MCP. I’ve got it checking a client’s keywords from Sydney every morning, logging rank, URL and SERP features automatically. Comment “SERP” and I’ll send you the full setup guide. h/t @suganthan for flagging this 🙌

“I think our team stats look like we're poorly coached.” #Blackhawks
I asked Jeff Blashill about his thoughts on Bowen Byram thus far: “When you aren't winning as a group, statistically it's not going to look great. I think our team stats look like we're poorly coached… …it is what it is. When I watch him play, I know he's a really, really good player. I think he's defended well, I think he's created stuff offensively… …I can't be more pleased with him as a competitor, a guy in the locker room, and a player on the ice.”
