I have just completed what I believe to be the most comprehensive evaluation of Charlotte NC arrest records in history.
This project has taken me 3 months to complete, combing through over 50,000+ arrest records and mugshots.
I've found what appears to be massive fraud.
Thousands of Hispanics have been labelled as "WHITE CAUCASIAN" in the arrest records... THOUSANDS.
In fact, I found over 500 cases where Hispanics who were arrested more than once... had their "Ethnicity" CHANGED from "Hispanic" to "Caucasian" from one arrest to another.
Horrifyingly, I found HUNDREDS of these "White Caucasians" were actually ILLEGAL ALIENS from foreign countries with ICE detainers.
Perhaps most disturbing...
Many of the illegal aliens who were labelled as "WHITE CAUCASIAN" had already been released back into the public, DESPITE the ICE detainer requesting they stay in prison.
We have a serious problem.

This, obviously, applies to multiple disciplines and areas of academia but it’s undoubtedly the case within sociology at present. Far too few people realise this. In fact our media and commentariat act as if the precise opposite is true - that the research these departments (like Jason Arday’s) are pumping out is very serious and fact based. They then report on it as ‘proof’ that society is oppressive, racist, etc, and label anyone who disagrees ‘extremist’ for ‘disagreeing with fhe experts’.

A bitter irony is that with the dehumanizing effects of the internet, and now AI, there’s need for true humanities education more than ever before.
Instead of meeting that critical need higher ed sought to legitimize itself with faux radical posturing, a catastrophic misstep.
People are under-pricing the possibility of a black-swan-esque event where significant chunks of higher ed collapse suddenly. At some point parents will decide they will not pay $100-400k combined for their kids to cheat their way through college. I expect a bang, not a whimper.

I did not know that George Floyd had overdosed on fentanyl just 8 weeks before his death - that he had actually been in intensive care because of it. Years later we're still learning new facts proving Derek Chauvin and the other officers were railroaded.

Parallel institutions are nice and all, but slow and insufficiently ruthless. Dave is absolutely correct that the commissars won't learn anything. They can't. They will never change. This is a religion for them, and every obstacle we raise is nothing more than a test of their faith.
The solution is therefore to do what Henry VIII did to the monasteries. Seize their endowments, their land, their buildings, their intellectual property, their copyrights, their trademarks, their very names. Bankrupt them. Take everything from them. Throw them out in the cold, force them to live by their wits (they won't), and use the assets to rebuild without them, using personnel carefully vetted to exclude every hint of Woke.
A lot of people are asking me about @nathancofnas and his role in the Jason Arday affair given my previous criticism of his political approach. Obviously, while Arday’s death was tragic, I support removing fraud, and Cofnas did good work on reporting the hoax.
However, it’s hard to see how this targeting of individual fraud is going to result in broader institutional reform that is Cofnas’s ostensible goal.
Because, I guarantee you, the institutions that promoted Arday have learned ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. In fact, his death has almost certainly made them MORE willing to double down on DEI, and more adamant in their efforts at locking out Cofnas’ HBD perspectives from polite discussion.
Very ironically, Cofnas efforts here remind me of @christopherrufo ‘s expose on Claudine Gaye. This is ironic because Cofnas seems to hate Rufo for just this kind of scandal mongering. Once more, Rufo’s blows were well struck. But in either case, it is impossible to see a broader strategy.
- These scandals are not going to make current institutional leadership more willing to reform
- There is no changing of the guard. The academy isn’t suddenly hiring a new cohort of right-wing professors, there isn’t an attempt to bring back the white guys locked out of such opportunities between 2014 and 2024.
- In fact, if anyone is getting money from these scandals, it’s the DEI leaders who created the mess.
- Moreover, admins know that the political demographic forces are on their side. They just need to sit tight, persist through the scandals, and slowly - based on who is hired and who retires - the total number of important people willing to listen of Cofnas will drop to almost zero.
It’s pretty clear, at this stage, that the only solution, short of a total Federal Government take-over, is to invest in parallel institutions that route around the problem.

The level of progressive propaganda under which we live is still criminally underappreciated and understudied. You take something like crime and police abuse and it’s just like, if you look at the body cam footage, if you dig into the facts of the most famous cases, what you find are people screaming at cops, resisting arrest, attacking police officers, cursing at them, spitting at them, driving cars at them, etc, etc.
There’s a tenor and a character and a nature to bad police interactions.
But then in the midst of this you’ll get a very special episode of the Fresh Prince in which an innocent Carlton donning a blazer is bullied by a cop for no reason, despite being politely oblivious of the danger he’s supposedly in anytime he speaks to a police officer.
If a guy in 1950 is upset about demographic change in his neighborhood, the reality of it is that crime and visible disorder blew through the top of the chart in the span of about a decade.
But when the movie is made about that racist asshole, a polite young black guy in a suit will enter a diner and say, “pardon me sir, but I surely am famished and could use a bite to eat if its not too much trouble” and then he’s beaten half to death for no reason, leaving the audience to conclude only one thing about their grandparents who fled to the suburbs.
People imbibe this stuff uncritically. Our history has been crafted for us by people who hate us and themselves.
