The second review in my Steaming The Deck series is about Furi, one of the best games I’ve played.
It is 1,99€ for Steam's Summer Sale, so don't waste any time and just go buy it. It is worth a lot more than a couple euros.

I can say a lot about our eerie narrative deckbuilder, but this release trailer speaks louder than words.
Here is the story of how Ed Kay “started tinkering” on an American McGee Pirate Jam, blissfully ignorant of the fact that he was beginning the process of creating a seven year old monster. Or, you know, how Demon Spore is being made.

My latest: All Quiet On The Rainbow Front... With June coming to an end I do wonder why so many esports organisations have forgotten about Pride Month. Could it be that there are some socio-economic factors at play?

Well done to GeoGuessr for taking this stance. The utter shame the rest of the competitive gaming space should feel as a result of this should be immeasurable but sadly they stopped being capable of shame some time ago.

We will not participate in the EWC.
Message from CEO & co-founder below:
Hi everyone,
I’ve seen your reactions over the past few days regarding our decision to participate in the Esports World Cup in Riyadh. When we made that decision, it was with positive intentions. To engage with our community in the Middle East and to spread GeoGuessr’s core mission of let everyone Explore the World.
Since Erland, Anton, and I founded GeoGuessr in 2013, we’ve always strived to be a community-first game. Everyone here at the Stockholm office is a passionate GeoGuessr fan, doing our best to build something meaningful, with you and for you. That said, you - our community - have made it clear that this decision does not align what GeoGuessr stands for.
So, when you tell us we’ve got it wrong we take it seriously. That’s why we’ve made the decision to withdraw from participating in the Esports World Cup in Riyadh.
We will come back with information on how the wildcards will be distributed as soon as possible.
Thank you for speaking up and sharing your thoughts.
/Daniel

To say I'm disappointed is an understatement. The punishment in a case like this should never depend on how far the team went in the tournament, it's the principle and the exploitation of rules that should matter.
Today, the Esports Integrity Commission (ESIC) publishes the findings of its investigation into Astralis’ emergency substitution request for Alexander “br0” Bro during the BLAST Premier Fall Final.
This investigation was initiated following a formal request from BLAST to determine if any breach of ESIC’s Integrity Program occurred.
