When a World Champion manager, who just navigated a 162 game season and playoffs, talks about caring about your teammates, you should listen.
“You don’t come back and win today if you aren’t bought in and don’t believe in each other.” USA Presidents Cup captain Brant Snedeker.

Six INTs last night for the @LakesFlag defense tied a school record for INTs in a game. Horvath, Murray, K. Rojas (2), and Sharp (2) all had picks with Rojas and Sharp each returning one for a TD. The team had 21 INTs this week in 5 games. #Villains
Last night Megan Murray broke the @LakesFlag career flag pulls record. The junior has been a 3 year starter on the Eagles defense.
No pics last night due to the rain, but Ryan Horvath and Megan Murray each had INT returns for touchdowns. Adia Newell set a new school record with the 3 INTs in the victory! #Villains @LakesFlag

It's interesting to me how some schools cancel events, following the IHSA standards, and others go on business as usual.
CPS postpones all outdoor events for the second straight day because of the NWS heat advisory. That includes 10 varsity football games. No word on rescheduling, which could be tricky if officiating crews are committed to other games Friday and/or Saturday. Just guessing, games may be pushed to Sunday or even Labor Day? We’ll see.

Ben McCollum said, "Your job is to not be here for yourself - but it’s to be here for everybody else."
Great teams are built of selflessness.
• You show up for each other.
• You sacrifice for each other.
• You win with each other.
