Happy #WildlifeWednesday featuring the Polyphemus Moth!
The Polyphemus moth is one of the biggest moths in North America, with a wingspan of up to 15cm!
The yellow-purple spot on each hind wing is called an eyespot. It is theorized that eyespots are used for scaring predators.
This #WorldAnimalDay we want you to consider how you can be an ethical wildlife photographer.

Today is #OrangeShirtDay and National Day for Truth and Reconciliation.
Show your support and raise awareness by wearing orange today to honour residential school survivors & the countless children who didn’t return home.

ALT A woman wearing an orange shirt with the focus on the shirt. The shirt has an artist image including hands and people, and the words "Every Child Matters" on it. Across the image is white text highlighted in orange that reads "Today is the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation and Orange Shirt Day." In the bottom right corner is an orange and white Ontario government trillium logo.
Today is #WorldRiversDay!
Why not take some time today to think about how rivers have impacted the geography and culture of Ontario, and how you can become a better steward of our waterways.
