🎨 DC’s story is on the walls!
As America celebrates its 250th anniversary, @Murals_DC is bringing history, culture, and creativity to neighborhoods across the District.
@Murals_DC is working with artists to create new murals in all eight wards, connecting DC’s unique story to this historic national milestone.
From neighborhood landmarks to local legends, each mural gives residents another reason to look up, look around, and celebrate what makes DC special.
📺 Check out NBC4’s Tommy McFly for a closer look at the murals and the artists bringing them to life.

Anacostia has always been a hub of art, culture, and creative expression. The Anacostia Arts and Culture District is uplifting that history.
MuralsDC is a win-win. Not only does it deter graffiti, but it supports local artists and fills our neighborhoods with fantastic art.
