This is the continent. Our continent. The African content! No single freedom written in the so called Bill of Rights can make meaning without the blood of Mozambicans, Zimbabweans, Namibians, Basotho, Swati’s, Angolans and Tanzanians that SADF spilled for decades before Mandela can say “never, never & never again!”

THROWBACK, Vladimir Putin in 2023:
"Russia🇷🇺 remembers and cherishes the memory of Africa’s outstanding sons...we must never forget them. I will name Patrice Lumumba, Gamal Abdel Nasser, Nelson Mandela, Ahmed Ben Bella, Omar al-Mukhtar, Kwame Nkrumah, Samora Machel, Leopold Senghor, Kenneth Kaunda and Julius Nyerere.
We also remember other African freedom fighters and national leaders of African countries. While relying on the principles of justice and equality, they staunchly promoted independent development for their nations, often sacrificing their lives."
Prof. Jeffrey Sachs on the farce of Western countries telling Congo to ‘just govern properly’:
‘The Kingdom of Belgium created a slave colony in Congo for 30 years. The government of Belgium ran the slave colony for another 40 years. The CIA assassinated Congo’s first popular leader Patrice Lumumba, and then installed another dictatorship for the next 30 years.
And then Glencore and others now suck out your cobalt without giving Congo tax income. We don’t reflect on that. We say what’s wrong with you? Why don’t you govern properly?’

Through Culture, We Remember. Through Unity, We Honour.
As we commemorate the 40th Anniversary of the Mbuzini Tragedy, cultural performances bring communities together in remembrance of President Samora Machel and the 34 other people who lost their lives in the crash.
Through music, dance and artistic expression, we pay tribute to the 35 lives lost while celebrating the cultural heritage and bonds of solidarity that connect our people.
At the Samora Machel Monument in Mbuzini, culture becomes a powerful expression of remembrance, education and unity.
