If your HC doesn't call plays he should absolutely be locked in on clock management.
NFL Hot Take: Clock management should not be left up to the Head Coach.
It should be someone’s sole job to own clock management for a team. Head Coaches have too many things on their mind to always make correct snap decisions.
The person would preferably be a math savant that can never be vetoed (bonus if they played football).
