#MedinaMondayMessage: Implementing #duallanguage programming requires a commitment at the school district systems level. This means that ALL district and school decisions must be made via a culturally and linguistically sustaining lens. This does not happen by chance. It requires all hands on deck.
My friend @Angel3May and I were celebrated with so much love @NetZeroLee for Assistant Principalβs week. Thanks for showing some RJL love, everyone.
Summative evaluations are next level when Snow White AKA @AMintonCISD runs them. βRemember youβre the one who can fill the world with sunshine.β - Snow White #CRECoyotes

When everyone works together to support education - teachers, school staff, administrators, parents, students, and so many others - it's a win for the whole team! βΎ #OpeningDay
We really don't eat enough around here. #RJLyear10
Morning pancakes made by the BEST! Thank you @MsYegge for treating us this Friday morning! We are SO lucky to have you here at Lee! πππ₯ #RJLyear10
It's obvious that I don't mind being a bit foolish for our school.
Sometimes you just have to dress as β¦@BestMaidPicklesβ© β¦@oscarmayerβ© and for Opening Day of β¦@Rangers baseballβ©! βΎοΈποΈπ§’#rjlyear10 #rj10ve
Make no mistake about it. Education is always on the ballot. I love when voting is at a school. It reminds everyone whatβs at stake. #TxEd #ProEducation

School districts across Texas are cutting staff and resources. Early voting started yesterday. Please vote for our most important resource - education. Find candidates that are pro-ed. #TxLege #TexasSchools

Thank you β¦@Angel3Mayβ© and Ms Yegge for hosting Assistant Principals today. I think itβs a sign of great walkie talkie communication when Principal Kastrounis puts her earpiece in. #rjlyear10

Teacher retention: if you want to keep the best teachers, treat them like they are the best. Few teachers leave an environment where they feel valued, supported, appreciated, and treated like professionals.
What an amazing team of educators @CRECoyotes. Both admin and educators braved the sub zero wind chill to make sure our learners got in safely. Way to lead @AMintonCISD.
It was so wonderful to see my former mentor @jwburchfiel at school visiting the birthday girl @emilyburchfiel. There are generations of greatness here, folks.
Some days in #education, you have to remind yourself what youβre really doing here. This is my reminder. I treasure these words and am eternally grateful she sent this letter.

Yβall, enough. This is ridiculous.
βGovernment schools?β β How about βConstitutional Schoolsβ β
#TXEd #TXLege #WeLeadTX
Texas children are being INDOCTRINATED to vote against Christian conservative values in government schools.
We MUST pass universal education freedom in Texas to secure a quality education with ZERO strings attached! #txlege

Why I will never support vouchers:
1. They solve zero problems.
2. They undermine public schooling, and
3. Absent a vibrant public educational system our democracy is in trouble.
But then, I think thatβs the point. Please play the long game on thisβitβs important.
