ALT "Behind the Bloom" explainer graphic on the newly-unveiled Cherry Blossom jersey designed by TKOPaintings. Taylor Kampa Olson is a local artist from the VA/DC area. She paints everything from portraits, to large murals and custom jackets. Design inspiration: There is no city prettier than D.C. during peak cherry blossom season. Many of Taylor's paintings are inspired by or feature the city. For this design, the idea was to keep it simple and elegant, with hand-drawn blossoms incorporated into the logo and white outlines symbolizing the blossoms starting to bloom. The design continues into the numbering which features cherry branches, buds, and blossoms.

ALT the scene is a grassy campsite with a large green tent pitched near the left side of the frame. two blond dogs are lying in the grass near the tent, facing in opposite directions. their fur and their silhouettes line up so perfectly that they appear to be a two-headed pup. one wants to go sniff the rocks on the right, and the other probably wants to go back to bed, so here we are.

ALT a brown and white patched english shorthair pointer with a few brown freckles on her front legs sits in a large square plastic dog bowl atop a placemat. the dog’s rear is perched on the edge of the bowl, with her paws all jumbled together in the basin, and a few cute wrinkles around her tummy as she curves inward. she’s looking at you with a plaintive pair of puppy dog eyes, framed perfectly by her big brown ears.
