Piñatas are looking great so far! Our students are having so much fun making them for Hispanic Heritage Month! 💕🪅
Back to school night… except the students are still here?!?! 😂😂 It was so nice to meet all of my wonderful parents!! Looking forward to an amazing year! #btsn #trs #thirdgrade
I couldn’t have asked for a better first day of school! ✨💕 #thirdgradedreamteam #thirdgrade #firstday #trs
It would be a shame not to post all of the hard work I put into my classroom to make the year feel magical. ✨ #thirdgrade #magicalyear #weehawken
Our class mascot Blueberry is ready to take on 3rd grade this year! #blueberrytheduck #thirdgrade
That’s a wrap on brain camp! We had so much fun reading “The One and Only Bob” and making our novel study dodecahedrons!
We had a great time today learning about fire safety! 🔥🚒🧑🚒 @WeehawkenTSD @SuzanneMera
Little minds at work💪. The future engineers of America are in 4th grade learning about the engineering process and applying it to any problem I throw their way. The teamwork in room 201 is amazing! Great things happening at TRS👏 @WeehawkenTSD @SuzanneMera
Posting this a little late but… what a wonderful town to celebrate! Weehawken day was excellent and I even got to see my 4th graders at their football game after.
Learning a little potential and kinetic energy by building popsicle stick catapults never hurt anyone! Let’s go STEAM Club! @WeehawkenTSD
If you can’t beat ‘em join em! From being banned in the classroom to using them as a review tool, these Beyblades have made it a long way! While the Beyblade at the table spun, the students had that time to complete as many review questions as they could! #BEYBLADE @WeehawkenTSD
I found my classroom Elf on the Shelf! Derek left clues behind for my students to figure out where he was lost! They figured out I had to pick him up at the NYC Public Library! @SuzanneMera @EricCrespoEDU @DeStefanoEDU @WeehawkenTSD #naughtyelf #doitforthekids #lol
Our naughty elf is back at it again! Derek threw spitballs everywhere! @SuzanneMera @WeehawkenTSD @WeeEdFoundation #naughtyelf
Today in Science we did a “walking water” experiment. It demonstrates a process called “capillary action” which helps water climb from a plant's roots up to the rest of the plant and leaves! Fitting perfectly into our Life science unit and World Children’s Day! @WeehawkenTSD
Here are some of the best videos I took from today from my wonderful students! Their enthusiasm and love for learning never ceases to inspire me! #WorldChildrensDay @WeehawkenTSD
Today in class we were joined by an amazing botanist, Antigone Burke! Since we are learning all about plant parts, of course we had to call up an expert. Thank you Antigone, we loved learning all about botany and asking you all of our questions!!🍀 @SuzanneMera @WeehawkenTSD
