Can you make 15 pizzas in 15 minutes!? Our friends worked as a team created their very own assembly line.
Record : 5 pizzas in 15 minutes 😁
The last 3 weeks we have been learning diving into geometry by being able to recognize 2D and 3D shapes.
To close out our unit, our friends were able to get creative and create something with 2D and 3D shapes!
Here are some of the creations !
On Friday, we had all of third grade be able showcase their published informational writing that they have been working on this unit!
Put our knowledge about force, motion, and simple machines to the test as we created catapults out of popsicle sticks, tape, rubber bands, and a spoon!

Pumpkin' Chunkin' competition!! Way to go to our top 3 in Yellow house! Such a fun way to wrap up our force and motion unit. 💛
Such a fun way to close out our culture unit for this 9 weeks! Each third grade class adopted a country and we made artifacts that represented music, art, lifestyle and much more. Here are just a few pics of our learners exploring each country!
The other day we worked with partners to crate our own mini anchor charts! A perfect opportunity for our learners to show what they know and teach each other !
I love to see when our friends automatically integrate what we are learning in social studies into math😊
Today each friend was paired up to show their published writing on their favorite memory! Then they gave each other grows (things that can be improved on in their next writing) and glows (something they really loved)
Our friends today finally put their knowledge about what a mixture is! We all added our own item and mixed it together to represent a mixture. Happy Friday💛

Shout out to @MsNoskin for teaching us subtraction with regrouping!!
Independent reading time consisted of us learning about what grit is and how to apply it to our reading goals! Our friends started with creating a goal before reading and then reflected how it went. Absolutely loved learning about their goals!!
We loved working together as a class to solve the mystery wordle of the day today during our morning meeting! We were able to work together and warm up our brains for the day. Feels so great to accomplish a goal as a team😊
