Recruiters, when i say i want diverse candidates for a role, i don't mean more white dudes with different previous employers...I know there are qualified candidates who don't look like Wolf of Wall Street extras, so please stop using the same referrals & actually recruit people!

If you can make a law with her name, then you can give her family justice. Arrest the cops who killed #BreonnaTaylor

Imagine someone u love is fast asleep in bed after a long day of working to help others. Imagine that while she is asleep armed strangers break down her door & shoot her in her bed 8 times. If this was ur daughter or sister, u would want justice. #BreonnaTalyor deserves the same.

Forcing voters to wait in line for hours in the midst of a pandemic is voter suppression and a threat to our lives. Let Georgia be a warning: We need to get our act together for the remaining primaries and November’s election. ajc.com/news/state--regional…

Expecting equal justice and being against police brutality is NOT “being political”. It’s called basic empathy. I’m sorry if my opinions on these things are “too radical” for a couple of you. Go in peace. Also Trump is a monster!

Yoooo you won’t believe what just happened to me. I was scrolling through Twitter and saw a tweet referring to something I didn’t know, and instead of replying “explain this to me.” I just googled it. And now I know what it is. Like fuck, what a rush!

question for non-black ppl working on anti-racism: has anyone had success so far talking to stubborn relatives who may have been drinking the fox news koolaid too long? any rec's for how to share ideas without pushing them into more radical bad places? #antiracism

ive seen some interesting IG posts but a lot of them assume some level of openness to discussion or cutting people from your life that might be harder to do with some relatives. my main concern is trying to avoid pushing someone deeper into a racist place of knee jerk reactions

Ask yourself, why is arresting people for petty theft & vandalism a greater law enforcement priority than firing & arresting police officers who we know committed murder? That tells you what the priorities of the system are, that it’s not about justice or about fighting crime.

Defunding the police sounds radical until you realize realize we’ve been defunding education for years.

wanted to shout out to @bravelygo for all her instagram content (if you don't already, give her a follow). Super well researched and unique coverage of policies, Fed moves, etc. that go above and beyond the cliches of Personal finance 👏👏👏
