Huge thanks to @weeglesgapoet for coming in to do a session with our S3 girls @AlloaAcademy . They have been working on ‘Get Set Girls’ as well as looking at the patriarchy in the media.
Emma was so engaging and made the girls think about their own self worth and empowerment.
Celebrating Dedication Across Scotland!✨
The Get S.E.T programme by MsMissMrs is now embedded in 22 local authorities, supported by 170+ professionals championing early intervention for girls' wellbeing.💜Huge shoutout to Kirkintilloch High School #GirlsEmpowerment #ScotlandEd

It was a delight to host pupils from @Elmvaleprimary to bake Eid celebration biscuits this week for their whole school. These gals managed to bake 450 (!!!) biscuits in just one morning. We are so impressed. Superstars ⭐
A strength you girls have in abundance, is that despite how hard it is. YOU KEEP GOING. tenacity! 💓
Continuing work on our @MsMissMrs1 Get Set workbook. Identifying personal strengths is a tricky thing but these girls worked really well to identify them.

Another Cook and Save successfully completed with this brilliant group of women who cooked up a storm over the past 4 weeks, learning to batch cook nutritious meals on a budget. Thanks so much to you all for helping us prepare 45 community meals for @ng_homes community event too!

We are devastated by the sad news of Christina McKelvie's passing 💔 We worked with Christina for a number of years and have always been strengthened by her deep warmth, support and commitment to addressing violence against women and girls in Scotland.
We want to send our heartfelt condolences to all who knew and loved Christina, but especially to her beautfiul family, all of whom she was exceptionally proud of 💗💔
Sometimes endings are just new beginnings. We celebrate today with 2 magnificent women who are moving on to the next part of their life journey after Get SET. To new beginnings! 🎉🔥
We love this. 💗

Today we added to our ‘MsMissMrs’ board with a quiz on ‘our self care style’ and what personality type we are.
We will use this to have some open discussions this week on self awareness 🫶🏼
