Did you see the news?!?! 😮 Arcadia High was featured on @kcalnews thanks to Meteorologist Amber Lee who was a guest speaker for our Digital Communications Internship program! A huge thanks to @AmberLeeNews for her educational and inspiring talk with our students. She discussed a recent story she did with Connie Chung, a trailblazer in the field of journalism, and the first Asian News Anchor for a network television station. She also gave great career and journalism advice while providing very constructive feedback for the students’ work. A sincere thank you 🙏🏼! We hope the sweatshirt keeps you warm this winter season! ❤️💛

We had a very engaging lesson on Holi today at First Avenue that left us all inspired by its colorful traditions! 🩷🩵🤎💙🧡💜💛💚 Great job by @TooCool4MS & @FirstAvePTSA! 👏🏻

Did you know that First Avenue Middle School is the oldest campus in our school district, having served Arcadia students and families for over 115 years? 😲 Read more about its 2024 California Distinguished School recognition for excellence from the California Department of Education in this @HeySoCalnews article! 🤩👏 #ImagineInquireInspire #BuildingOurFuture ➡️ bit.ly/FirstAveDistinguished… @LosAngelesCOE @FirstAveMS @FirstAvePTSA @TooCool4MS @sissafa786786 @mdegraz4 @HistoryFrog – at Arcadia, CA

Watch out for our DISTINGUISHED Spartans! 🤩🏆🥳👏 Our very own First Avenue Middle School is one of less than 300 secondary schools (middle & high schools) across our entire state to earn recognition as a 2024 California Distinguished School from the @CADeptEd ! We are so proud!

We are hiring for our next Principal @ First Avenue Middle School! These are very impressive shoes to fill for Dr. Issa, who is retiring at the end of the year, but she is leaving the Spartans in great shape!💙💛 bit.ly/FAprincipal Come imagine, inspire, & inquire with us!
