Coyotes collected over 450 boxes of cereal to donate to @DDSBMAKEADIFF ! We created a dominoes of cereal boxes to show just how far our donation went! Thank you to everyone who donated- YOU make a difference! We even had surprise guests @ajax_fire ! Amazing coyotes! @DDSBSchools

What are you favourite tools or resources for teaching phonics? I have Heggerty which I use. But looking for any other great resources for junior grades!

A fun art activity using our thumbprint to create snow people. Easing our way back into creating by adding facial expressions and stories to art! My favourite is the snow person chasing after their head 🤣

We had fun “mining” today! We mined for ‘minerals’ in both hard and soft grounds. Ss found it was WAY easier to mine in soft ground! A fun friday activity with my favourite scientists! 👩‍🔬👨‍🔬Thank you @MsBowyersClass for sharing this activity!! @Carruthers_PS

Wooden poppies made by our amazing Coyote students for Legion Branch 322. Students from K, SSP, grade 6 and 8 created these poppies to recognize the contributions of Canadians who have served- past and present. Lest we forget. @RoyalCdnLegion

Today we did a patterning escape room! Students had to answer patterning questions to unlock the next question. Each question also had a secret letter that they used to form the secret code at the end of the escape room. Thanks to @MsLawther for the great idea! @GlenDhuPS
