I asked AI to help create an instagram post for Genetic Counselor Awareness Day, and this is what it came up with. The images are cool, but the spell-check is lacking 😂. Happy GC Awareness Day!

Happy Birthday to Elsie's namesake, Rosalind Franklin!
Dr. Franklin (whose middle name was Elsie) was a chemist who is credited with taking the first clear picture of DNA, the famous Photo 51. (It was also the inspiration for our logo!)

Hey Twitter World ..... very long shot here, but I am running out of options. I'm looking for a licensed physician in #Hawaii who would be open to a favor to help someone who is at-risk for #HuntingtonsDisease Zero time commitment & more of a just a licensing hurdle.
No genetic counselor has all 5:
1. DNA sticker on their water bottle
2. Endless supply of conference pens
3. “What does a GC do?” T-shirt
4. Glow-in-the-dark DNA Toms
5. Official Medicare recognition
Let’s fix that last one, shall we?

I have been saddened by several announcements this year by genetics companies to restructure, and send best wishes to those who have been impacted. While licensure may not be the highest priority during this time, it is an important thing to manage during any job change.#GeneChat
