I was sad for no important reason and then I started reading #FairytalesFromVerania by @tjklune and the mention of twinks turning into usually sad twunks made me slide off my chair in a fit of laughter. Tbh I almost fell off said chair by the third paragraph already so thank you

I look back and am astonished that the surreal became real. I am crushed that every day, so many Americans chose to fully embrace evil. And I am troubled that the "internet", which once held so much promise to enlighten people, became a tool of oppression so easily.

My heart breaks every time I, a white woman am reminded of how some human beings are treated because of the color of their skin. While I feel the exhaustion of living in this fucked up world in general, I can’t even imagine theirs. It’s beyond outrageous to have to live like this

I realize that it kinda comes out of the blue to suddenly ask these questions when I’ve barely touched these questions before. I do have an excuse for that though and it’s a valid one, although quite personal, and thus private.
