Sunday school thangsss: Market Basket bright & early, farmer’s market, chores & prep, Patriots, client, barre, chili & cornbread, read & relax, meditate & early to bed! Very grateful for an awesome start to the school year! It is FLYING already.

Alwaysssss a protein boost to start a school morning. Great start to the school year. Let’s keep it going. Love it!

Sunday night snack before the start of the school year!

Writing my opening day notes so my admin receives happy mail! School leadership is a big job!

Outfit is already laid out for first day of school tomorrow — thank you @jcrew for the teacher discount! Much appreciated.

I started teaching when I was 21, about to turn 22. Tomorrow starts my 25th year as a public high school English teacher. Feeling nostalgic & also can’t believe how much the profession has changed. Like, my last education class at BU was fortheeducator.com. 😂

Having fun lesson planning @CaffeNero_US! Looking forward to teaching a new prep. This year I’ll have sophomores & seniors!

Savoring every last bit of summer ☀️

A lil friend helping me lesson plan for the school year! You know I love the symbolism — transformation, growth, self-realization.

Thank you for an awesome event @merrimaclibrary 💟

Picked up some books at the library for 2 neighbors! Books are a gift! 📖🎁☺️

Quick morning read 😊🫖

Best PD book I’ve read in a decade!!! Just randomly stumbled upon it at my local library & what a find!!! Highly recommend for English teachers & anyone on the socials aka all of us! #algospeak

Everything I can get my hands on! In the summer reading groove & it feels good!

Since we do an alternating week of academics & shop/co-op, I had to say goodbye to half of my 11th graders today. It was a great year with these classes. They grew academically & socially. Final exams for my next group tomorrow & Thurs. EOY English dept party Thurs too. Yay!
