Our #LLC was hopping today for our first #FamilyReads morning at @jamesardielelem. So many students read with their families, big buddies, peers, and teachers. Students also visited to check out books to read almost anywhere they wanted to around the school. #sd36tl #sd36learn

Creating the Indigenous Peoples Collection at #sd36learn Xw'epiteng for students' first time in the #sd36tl LLC -elevating authentic Indigenous authors & illustrators, situating them by place, not number, + removing fiction vs nonfiction as knowledge is shared through all stories

A visit to #sd36learn new Xw'epiteng - a land-based school approaching education & learning in an Indigenous holistic, decolonialised approached. So impressed with the commitment of staff to imagine what education could be👏 Can't wait to help transform the library also #sd36tl
