7. The most important finding:
Close relationships are the strongest predictor of happiness ― even more so than social class, IQ, fame, money, or even genes.

A pre-reading word cloud for Macbeth’s dagger soliloquy. Will be using this to clarify words/explore connotations & consider what the repetition/frequency of words & linked-words suggest about: a) the nature of the vision, b) Macbeth’s state of mind. @Team_English1

Apparently I am mainly reading books about women who have been persecuted for their desires this year.
Excellent overview/ideas here from @FunkyPedagogy It’s also encouraged me to reflect on some recent (and rather brilliant) MFL teaching I have observed and the effectiveness of teaching grammar when learning another language. Surely we should be doing this more in all subjects?

Amazing! 🥲
We have @LitdriveUK and @Mrs_H_Eng to thank for this. Our KS3 lead updated the unit thanks to the remote training and dept discussion. Cannot wait to teach.

Conversations about women in AIC this morning led onto conversations about Sarah Everard. The girls in my tutor group sadly nodded in agreement as I spoke about the things I believe Lucy Mountain (IG) has summed up, better than I can, here... #shewaswalkinghome
