On Friday, we launched our TDA Mystery Reads rewards to celebrate our star readers from the Summer Term. The students with the most Sparx Reader points and the most Reading Aloud points received a certificate and their TDA Mystery Reads prize. Congratulations and happy reading!

It was wonderful to attend the ATT Staff Excellence Awards yesterday evening! I loved celebrating all the great work and achievements from across the Trust, alongside my lovely colleagues from The Dukeries Academy. It was a huge honour to be recognised and included in this event!

The Stresshog is looking a little worse for wear as today marks the end of our GCSE French speaking exams! Time to put him in hibernation until our Y10 mocks. The students look forward to the big stress toy reveal for each exam and it brings some joy to a stressful situation 🦔🇫🇷
A Saturday morning revision session for my lovely Year 11 French class! I’m very proud of them all for giving up some of their weekend to come into school. It was great to have additional revision time with them as we get ready for the upcoming exam season 🇫🇷.

Back to school today and it was great to hear so many students talking about our Easter school trip to Paris! It wouldn’t have been possible without the help of the wonderful team of staff that volunteered their time to support the trip. What an incredible four days! 🇫🇷
