7th grade LA engaged in a Charles Dickens intro ahead of their next unit. Ss focused on the juxtaposition between rich/poor classes during the Victorian Era, as most of CD’s writing was inspired by his own life living as a child laborer. Busy, messy & totally worth it! @CISDlib

That’s a wrap - we ended our book club tonight! The wonderful @amymakechnie joined us for an author visit! Thankful she spent time w/us & shared about writing process! Proud of our Bronco Lit Club leaders for planning & moderating their first author Zoom! @CISDlib @coppelleast
