Eli was born May 21, 2012. He died Sept. 15. He was nine years old, and his first moments and last moments in the world were spent in the arms of his mother with his dad at their sides. naplesnews.com/story/news/lo…

I am taking Eli home today, not because he is ok, but because he is not.
I will get him home to dad @Drive73737681 and do everything I can to make the rest of our time together spectacular.

Good news, Finally!
Eli has been extubated and breathing independently.
He is still groggy and asking what happened, but then falls asleep.
Not sure of next steps, but we got to hear our baby's voice, and that's EVERYTHING!
Keep the good energy coming!
