Lisa Nandy said the quiet part out loud today when she said, referring to plans to remove social media access from 16 year old, "This is a staging post to what must be a very active interventionist state." It's wonderful to see so many Restore members and supporters following each other on here, but everyone needs to be aware that the government will take this platform away from us just as soon as they work out how to do it. This is why making connections in the real world is vital - we all need to build communities of people we can call on when times get really hard, and those communities need to be offline and local. A few of us here in sunny Dorset have started meeting up for a pint and a chat on a Sunday afternoon - it's a small group so far, with some diverse views about the true nature of the problems facing us and the best way to solve them, but we're united in believing that Restore provides us with the best flag to rally around. We'll be at the Southern Conference on Friday - hope to see some of you there.
